My Dream house!

So basically I took Interior design a year ago, and in the class we had to make a “portfolio” of lots of different designs and example of good and bad design. While looking around on the internet for examples of design I found this Beauty!!!! Then I kind of went crazy and found more things that one day will hopefully be part of my home, or at least something close to these items....

Isn't this room the most beautiful room EVER? I mean It screams Cindy (and Wyatt) ... ( I don't think he will care if our room has this color scheme, it looks nice! :)
Then there is this BEAUTIFUL dining room set. I have always wanted a round table, so that everyone could see everyone's face! Also I think there is something cozy and cute about a round table :)
This Living room wold be SO nice! I love the colors and it makes me happy!
Last but not least, this would be the cutest house ever! Maybe a different color than blue, but I love the way it's built and I love the porch! Someday I will have my own little home and I hope to be able to fill it with things like this! (Except without spending so much money!)

Barbies among us

Okay, so I feel like everyone else has vented on their blogs at least once in their blogging days, so I think it’s my turn! Lately I feel like I am the most unaccomplished person in the world! I feel like everywhere around me there are girls who are so much cooler than me and doing so much more than I am!!

Example #1: I have a friend who is involved in a bunch of extracurricular activities, is primary president, and I just found out is in her third year at BYU and is a freaken 4.0 student!!! Like is that possible?! (Husband going to Med. School)

Example #2: Another one of my friends (a grade younger than me) is in her second year at BYU and graduating in April in exercise science, and going to P.A. school!!!! (Husband going to dental school)

I could go on with this, but crazy right? Like are these people real? Is there anything that makes them imperfect? I’m pretty sure these girls have never burped in their lives!!These girls who have amazing talents, and they are amazingly smart, and you guessed it they are all very good looking and somehow SOMEHOW manage to look good All the time! (and are very domesticated wives… which I am not…!) (you know the kinds that bake cookies all the time!! And muffins!)

I believe that these girls are the Barbies among us. Somehow girls like me don’t make it to be barbie’s! (probably too short J) Anyways, I’m so sick of being so un cool and being no one of interest! Maybe I too someday will join the league of Barbies, but who knows how I will or even when I will. Until I continue wishing I could be cool.

Ps. I know that whole “don’t compare yourself” thing but seriously, does anyone not?

How sweet he is

So last night, Wyatt and I didn’t exactly see eye to eye about things, and I think we kind of did the whole, “go to bed without solving things” I thought for sure this morning would be full of “I thinks” and “You shoulds” But when I woke up this morning to my surprise Wyatt had cleaned the kitchen the bathroom and had vacuumed all before 8:30 am! (which if you know my husband he doesn’t normally wake up until ten!) I woke up to a hug a kiss and a clean house Wyatt is SO sweet

quick update

I decided to change my blog “title” to “Confessions of a Teenage Bride” . I did this because I have a journal that says it on it and thought it would help me keep this updated more and I thought it was fun J. Lots has happened since my last soap box about extremely thin standards in society. I celebrated my 20th birthday! Which was AWESOME! I seriously never thought I could have a birthday that was that much fun! I got lots of fun presents and really enjoyed my day. I did “Luau” at BYU and loved it! I went to my first festival of Colors, which tasted SUPER gross, but thanks to my friend T was saved due to the tip she gave me about how I should cover my mouth. Wyatt and I are still doing awesome. I swear I’m the luckiest girl. I promise I will try harder to update you on what’s been going on! OH and Wyatt and I celebrated our one year! Which was SUCH a blast, I can’t believe we have been married that long… how insane and crazy! Anyways that’s about it!

PS. Thanks for everyone who came to my little birthday dinner thing, I have never felt so loved :)

My how the tables have turned...

So Interesting story of the day…

This model was airbrushed to look heavier or in their words “healthier”. Jane Druker, editor and chief of this health magazine demanded that 7 extra pounds be airbrushed onto this model to keep up the “Healthy” portrayal on her magazine. The following is what Jane had to say regarding part of the photo shoot…

“There were plenty of clothes that we couldn’t put on her because her bones stuck out too much…That’s not a reflection of what we do in our magazine, which is about good health,” Druker told the DailyMail.

So what do you think? Do you think it’s a good thing that they wanted to add a little weight to this model? Or what if they would have casted a “healthier” looking model?

I don’t know if any of you have heard of that controversy with Layne Bryant “Plus size” model. {By the way, by plus size we mean a size 6 and a size 8! I’m the next plus size model…. Seems like it at least…} Anyways… she shoot a “lingerie” commercial for Layne Bryant and it shows her getting ready to have lunch with her boyfriend. But as it turns out no major television networks wanted to show that commercial because she was a “Plus Size model” . At first they claimed the lingerie commercial was too “sexy” for families… but there was no such complaint about the Victoria’s secret commercials… what would they have against a plus size model? Is it that she’s got more junk in her trunk? Or bigger boobs? Why would they not allow her commercial, but WOULD allow a Victoria’s secret commercial?

I want to hear what you have to say, what do you think?

Haven't met you yet!

On Wednesday night Wyatt and I went to the Michael Buble concert at the E-center. It was AMAZING!!!  Wyatt surprised me with the tickets in January as a New years eve present and it was the best present ever! I LOVE Michael’s songs! They are so romantic and just plain awesome! We have had a fun couple of months, I really should keep better track about what were doing J.  We went to go see the “how to train your dragon” movie as well! Lets see… we celebrated our nine-month anniversary! Sent Alex off on his mission and just enjoyed each other! These past months have been SO much fun! Oh and by the way at the end of his concert he sang my most FAVORITE song EVER!! " haven't met you yet" also, he announced his recent engagement, funny he sings romance songs, yet he probably broke many hearts that night!!! It was seriously SUCH a fun concert thank you Wyatt for the AWESOME present!!!
